What happens when you take a simple task and over complicate it? Fourth-grade classrooms at Elementary North had the fun challenge of designing and building overly complicated machines to do very simple tasks, such as opening a pizza box or pulling a tissue out of a box. Their machines were inspired by Rube Goldberg, an engineer, who is best known for his wacky cartoons showing complicated machines doing simple things.
