Eat at BD's BBQ on Wednesday, Oct 25!
Make plans to eat at BD's Mongolian BBQ on Wednesday, October 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. Hawthorn administrators, staff and students will be working to raise funds for the 6th Grade Outdoor Education trip. (All tips support the trip, and every piece of key lime pie sold earns the students $1!) Watch for "celebrity" chefs, waiters, busboys, beverage servers and raffle organizers, including John Ahlemeyer, Joy Mullaney, Brian Greene, Karen Cencula, Julie Rohlfing, Phil Siembal, Brenda Lowy, Anna Groh, Jason Kao, Renee Schiemann, Sheryl Swanson, Sara Hilger, Maureen Wright, Rachel Serlin, Erin Zane, Michelle Vazquez, Abby Currie, Zach Stanberry and Tom Springborn (who is reported to be an excellent sword juggler!). A huge thank you to BD's on Route 60 in Vernon Hills and to all of the staff members, businesses, PTO supporters and parents working to make the Outdoor Education Program possible.
