The District held a reception for Jon Paret who recently retired from his position as the District’s Police Resource Officer. The Board of Education recognized him at the board meeting that followed the reception. He now begins a new chapter in his life as a member of the College of Lake County Police Department.

The Hawthorn PTO’s Variety Show on March 17 showed that talent is truly thriving at Hawthorn’s schools. The 30 acts ranged from singing to dancing, from piano to guitar playing.
