Hawthorn District 73 provides both breakfast and lunch through our food service provider, Sodexho. Students are offered a variety of hot and cold entrees each day. Lunch also features a fruit and vegetable bar from which students may choose.

2008/2009 Tickets
- 10-Breakfast Ticket - $12
- 10-Lunch Ticket - $22
- 20-Milk Carton Ticket - $8
- 10-Juice Cup Ticket - $5
- 10-Water Bottle Ticket - $10
Student meal and beverage tickets are purchased from each school. To purchase tickets, parents may send lunch money to school with their students via a check payable to Hawthorn District 73. Please send the payment in an envelope marked with your student’s name, building, grade, teacher’s name and purpose (i.e., 2 lunch tickets for $44, 1 breakfast ticket for $12, etc.). Middle school meals may also be purchased with cash.
Federal School Breakfast/Lunch Program
Hawthorn participates in the federal free and reduced-price lunch and breakfast program. Students unable to pay full price for meals may be eligible for free or reduced-price breakfasts and lunches.
