These webpages are designed to share information of interest to Hawthorn families, while also reducing the amount of paper going home with our students. Inclusion on this page does not mean that Hawthorn endorses any of these programs. Rather, we are simply passing along information. All information presented here must be associated with organizations that are local, non-profit, open to all of our student community and/or otherwise of potential benefit to our students or parents. VHHS Winter Play - Sideways Stories From Wayside School - Feb 9 through 11

Vernon Hills High School’s theatre department is pleased to present their winter play, Sideways Stories From Wayside School. This family-friendly show is based on the popular Wayside School novels by Louis Sachar, which share the shenanigans of the students and teachers who inhabit the 30th story of the school. Strange encounters and skewed adventures are plentiful in this show that is sure to amuse audiences of all ages. Performances are February 9,10, 11 at 7:30 PM in the VHHS Studio Theatre. The running time for the show is approximately an hour and fifteen minutes (intermission included). Call 847-932-2283 for more details or to reserve tickets. Tickets may also be purchased at the door or during lunch hours the week of February 6. Student/Child tickets are $4, adult tickets are $5.
