Hawthorn District 73 has once again received Financial Recognition status from the Illinois State Board of Education. Hawthorn excelled in all five categories examined by the state, including fund balance to revenue ratio, expenditures to revenues ratio, days cash on hand, percent of short-term borrowing available, and the percent of long-term debt remaining.
