 Timothy Shanahan, Presidentshanahant@hawthorn73.org Appointed 2003; Elected 2005 Tim has lived in the Hawthorn District since 1990, first in Vernon Hills and currently in Mundelein. He and his wife, Gayle, have two children, both of whom have gone through the Hawthorn school system. Tim is active in the community, having worked on committees in the Cook Library District as well as on Hawthorn building and district-wide committees. He has also coached T-ball, baseball, soccer and basketball. Tim is Vice President of Operations for Kleen Air Service Corporation in Chicago. (Term ends April 2009) |
 Donna Gaidamak, Vice-Presidentgaidamakd@hawthorn73.org Elected 2005 Donna has been a resident of District 73 since 1998. She and her husband, Alex, live in Vernon Hills with their two children, who attend Hawthorn District 73 schools. Donna is a 20-year public relations professional, and is currently the Media Relations Manager for Cardinal Health. (Term ends April 2009) |

 Anne Hoffman, Secretaryhoffmana@hawthorn73.org Elected 2005 Anne has lived in District 73 since 1993, residing in Vernon Hills with her two children, who attend Hawthorn and Vernon Hills High School. Active in the Hawthorn PTO since 2000, Anne developed the volunteer-based Art Adventure program, and has been involved with Book Fairs, After School Classes, and Buy a Brick. She also volunteers with the Libertyville Food Pantry. Anne is an Assistant Residential Property Manager for a downtown Chicago property. (Term ends April 2009) |
 Jeffrey Bardbardj@hawthorn73.org Elected 2007 Jeffrey Bard has lived in District 73 since 1999. He and his wife, Lori, live in Vernon Hills with their two children who attend Hawthorn schools. Jeff has been involved as a volunteer in the community with the Vernon Hills Park District, GLSA soccer program, and the Boy Scouts. He holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering & Public Policy and an MBA. Jeff is an environmental manager. (Term ends April 2011) |

 Michelle Comitorcomitorm@hawthorn73.org Elected 2007 Michelle Comitor has been a resident of District 73 since 1994. She and her husband Scott live in Vernon Hills with their two daughters. Over the past seven years she has volunteered for various activities in the Hawthorn Schools. A sixteen-year teaching veteran, Michelle is a first grade teacher at Kipling Elementary in Deerfield, where she has taught for the past 11 years. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a Masters degree in gifted education. (Term ends April 2011) |
 Lisa Jayjayl@hawthorn73.org Elected 2007 Lisa Jay has lived in Hawthorn District 73 for 12 years. She and her husband have two boys, one attending school at Hawthorn and one in preschool. Lisa is currently a stay-at-home mom. Prior to being home, she was a Marketing Manager for a credit card company. Lisa holds a B.S. in Child Development. (Term ends April 2011) |

 John Sonnenbergsonnenbergj@hawthorn73.org Elected 2007 John Sonnenberg has lived in Vernon hills since 1988. He and his wife Beth have two children, both of whom attended Hawthorn schools. John was involved in the development of Christ Lutheran Preschool, where his wife is the director. He has also served on referendum, playground, and village broadband committees. He holds a B.S. in Science Education, M.S. in Education Administration, and a Chief School Business Official Endorsement. John works for Absolute Software where he consults to schools and businesses.
