Welcome! Thanks for the taking time to come visit our site. This is my third year as a fourth grade teacher at Hawthorn Elementary South. I love fourth grade and all the wonderful things the students learn. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher so I attended Eastern Illinois University where I attained a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. In the summer of 2009 I received my masters degree from National-Louis in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in ESL. Now, I am currently taking classes for my second masters in reading! I love to learn and I think it is so important to show my students that learning never stops!
