BOE Meeting Update

Planned Internet Outage

Due to a planned upgrade all internet connections in and out of Hawthorn District 73 will be offline for approximately 2 hours beginning Thursday, August 8th at 4pm.

Returning Student Enrollment For 2019-20 School Year

Parents should complete returning online registration through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Register by May 10th. Students will not be assigned a teacher or a bus route until online registration is complete. Failure to do so will result in your child being dropped from enrollment. 1/18/19 All Extracurricular Activities Cancelled

Due to anticipated weather, our district’s extracurricular activities scheduled for after school today (including the after school activity bus) have been cancelled. Additionally, all Hawthorn 73 activities scheduled for tomorrow 1/19/19 have been cancelled.  This includes our participation and hosting of the Hawthorn Wrestling Invite. Fertilizer and Weed Control Application

This letter is to inform you that a Hawthorn contractor is scheduled to apply a lawn treatment (fertilizer) to our district lawns on June 15, 2018. Areas will be posted, and people are encouraged to stay off of the areas for two hours after the application.

Soft lockdown lifted

Soft lockdown in effect

4/5/18, 9am: Due to police activity in the area, Hawthorn Schools are currently on soft lock down.  Students will not be allowed to exit the buildings until the soft lock down is lifted.  While there is no immediate threat, there is no entry to buildings and offices at this time.
