Reporting A Student Absence
Please call the main office of your child’s school or use the “Report an Absence” button in the upper right-hand corner of our website to report your child’s absence. The District has procedures in place to ensure the collection of information necessary to properly report positive COVID-19 cases to the health department, engage in contact tracing, as well as to provide concurrent learning to eligible students. Please do not contact your child's teacher(s), as they are working with children and often do not receive email or phone messages until the end of our school day. Additionally, our teachers cannot assess symptoms or quarantine orders to determine eligibility for concurrent learning. Calling the main office of your child’s school or using the “Report an Absence” button in the upper right-hand corner of our website will help us accurately and efficiently complete the many steps required to process your child's absence and secure any needed support.
