Library Announces 2019 “Design a Bookmark” Contest Winners

Each year the Cook Memorial Public Library District holds a contest that enables students to show just how talented they are. Students from schools in the library district created and submitted bookmarks that were inspired by their favorite books or characters. This year, the library received approximately 750 entries. Eighteen Hawthorn students won prizes. Here they are:

  • Third Grade, First Place: Grace C., Townline Elementary
  • Third Grade, Third Place: Rhea D.., Elementary North
  • Fourth Grade, Second Place: Annette L., Elementary South
  • Fourth Grade, Third Place: Kaitlyn K., Elementary South
  • Fifth Grade, Second Place: Violet W., Elementary South
