Miss Wolf, a teacher at Elementary North, visited HEI “Wild Kingdom” and “Dig it” classes with her bearded dragon. The children learned all about caring for and feeding this lizard, which is native to Australia. They also learned all sorts of bearded dragon facts. Many even had a chance to feed her!
So much took place during the first week of Hawthorn Enrichment Institute. Students built volcanoes, touched fossils, danced, made jewelry, solved crimes, solved problems, and had lots of fun. The program is offering 80 classes this summer.
Dear Hawthorn Enrichment Institute Participants:
This is a reminder classes will begin on Wednesday, July 05, 2017, 8:00 AM, Townline Elementary School. Please arrive five to ten minutes early to ensure classes begin on time.
On the first day, students will enter the facility and head to their first class. Parents are more than welcome to walk their child to the front door of Townline.
KINDERGARTEN…Mrs. Gerjol will meet her students at the front entrance.
In the event your child will be absent, please call 847-489-5598
If you arrive late, you will need to check-in at the Townline main office.
Parking at Townline School: You may drop your child off at the pick-up line (front of Townline School) before and after summer programming. However, it is best if you park your vehicle and walk your child to the school (especially during the first week). There is plenty of parking between Townline and Hawthorn Middle North. This is up to you! There will be NO police assistance during pick-up and drop-off. Patience is golden.
Schedules will be given out during the first period classes. A separate email will be sent with what room to report to on the first day.
